This Scotts SUB Mount Bolt-on Tower is designed for 08-10 Husqvarna TE 310, TE/TC/TXC 450/510 models. For these motorcycles, a special -5mm stepped link is required (sold separately). Some bolt-on towers may necessitate additional filing or drilling to ensure proper fitment.
Most applications can be installed by a novice mechanic. However, some bolt-on towers require additional hardware for mounting. In certain instances, special rubber cones, bar mount hardware, or indexing the bar mount bolts may be necessary to provide adequate clearance between the tower and the bar mount hardware.
The tower pin should be kept free-floating, so ensure regular cleaning and lubrication.
