For riders with a Scotts stabilizer seeking a straightforward mounting solution, the DM-Bolt Kit is the answer. This conventional mounting (Above Bar) kit from Scotts Performance is designed for easy installation on Honda CRF 250X models from 04-17. The kit comprises:
- Scotts top bar clamp
- Scotts bolt-on tower
This kit is suitable for motorcycles using OEM triple clamps and/or bar mounts. In some cases, we can accommodate aftermarket triple clamps and/or bar mounts, particularly from BRP and Scotts. If your setup is not OEM, please contact us for the appropriate setup.
Please note that for specific OEM applications, you may need to bend the crossbar, reverse mount the stabilizer, or purchase new bars to ensure clearance for the stabilizer. Some applications may require slight filing on the frame and/or triple clamp or the use of special rubber bar mount bushings for proper tower fitment.
Important: For 04-07 250X models, a $30.00 tank strap is required when using the OEM tank.
