IMS 6.6 gal Fuel Tank for 1987-2018 KLR650

The IMS 6.6 gal Fuel Tank is designed for 1987-2018 Kawasaki KLR650 models with a 1st generation radiator or specific modifications. To ensure proper installation, please note the following:

• Seat: Use a 1st generation seat or modify the 2nd generation seat.
• Fairings: Trim or fabricate brackets, or uninstall.
• Tank Mounts: Use spacers/rubber bushings to align with front mounts. The rear tank bolt may require a longer bolt.
• Petcock: Swap to a manual petcock (non-vacuum).
• Emissions/Vacuum Lines: Cap or reroute as necessary.

Please be aware that this wing tank does not use OEM/stock shrouds.

This fuel tank offers a larger capacity than the stock tank while maintaining a slim and sleek design. Ideal for off-road adventures in the dunes or high-performance racing.
