BRP triple clamps cater to diverse rider ergonomics. A SUB Mounted triple clamp typically offers a 25mm (1″) taller bar position and a greater "RTS" (Relative to Stem) distance than stock clamps, enhancing ergonomics for most riders.
Designed for 1 1/8″ handlebars, the SUB mounting style offers numerous benefits, including reduced rider contact with the stabilizer, stabilizer protection in crashes, shorter towers for improved stabilizer action, and the ability to add bar pads for additional rider protection.
Manufactured from high-quality 6061-T6 billet aluminum, BRP triple clamps are stronger than OEM units and comparable in weight. Precision machined fork bores feature a 2-pinch bolt design that increases clamping surface on forks, preventing fork twist during hard landings or crashes.
This is an easy bolt-on assembly that requires basic hand tools and can be performed by a novice mechanic. However, depending on the model, additional hardware such as headlight & odo brackets or mounts may be required (additional charge). Some applications are available with solid-mounted bar mounts only, and fork pinch bolts may come from the front.
