The BRP SUB Mounted Triple Clamp is a superior solution for mounting Scotts Stabilizers below handlebars, suitable for various riding conditions, particularly motocross and grand prix. This setup is ideal for models with rubber-mounted bar mounts, which help reduce vibration.
BRP triple clamps cater to diverse rider ergonomics. The SUB Mounted triple clamp typically provides a 25mm (1″) higher bar position and a greater "RTS" (Relative to Stem) distance compared to stock clamps, enhancing ergonomics for most riders.
The BRP SUB Mount is designed for 1 1/8″ handlebars (optional 7/8″ bar adapters available). SUB mounting offers several advantages, including:
- Reduced risk of rider contact with the stabilizer
- Prevention of stabilizer damage in crashes
- Shorter tower for more effective stabilizer action
- Ability to add bar pads for additional rider protection
- Adjustable bar position for taller riders (shorter riders can use lower bar bends)
BRP triple clamps are meticulously crafted from 6061-T6 billet aluminum, offering superior strength and comparable weight to OEM units. Our triple clamps feature precision-machined fork bores with a 2-pinch bolt design, increasing clamping surface on the forks and preventing fork twist during hard landings or crashes.
This is an easy bolt-on assembly that can be installed using basic hand tools and is suitable for novice mechanics.
