The BRP SUB Mounted Triple Clamp, featuring the SUB Mount "Scotts under Bar," is a versatile solution for mounting Scotts Stabilizers below handlebars. Ideal for various riding conditions, especially motocross and grand prix. Most models come with rubber-mounted bar mounts to reduce vibration.
BRP triple clamps cater to diverse rider ergonomics, offering a 25mm (1″) taller bar position and a greater "RTS" (Relative to Stem) distance than stock clamps. This setup is beneficial for most riders.
The BRP SUB Mount is designed for 1 1/8" bars, with optional 7/8" bar adapters available. SUB mounting offers advantages for both average-height and taller riders:
- Reduces risk of rider contact with the stabilizer
- Prevents stabilizer damage in crashes
- Creates a more positive stabilizer action
- Allows for the use of bar pads
- Provides a 25mm (1″) taller bar position for taller riders
BRP triple clamps are meticulously crafted from robust 6061-T6 billet aluminum, offering superior strength and comparable weight to OEM units. Precision-machined fork bores feature a 2-pinch bolt design, increasing clamping surface and preventing fork twist.
This straightforward bolt-on assembly requires basic hand tools and can be completed by a novice mechanic.
