BRP triple clamps provide adjustability for diverse rider ergonomics. The SUB-mounted clamp typically offers a 25mm (1″) taller bar position and a greater "RTS" (Relative to Stem) distance than stock clamps, enhancing ergonomics for most riders.
The BRP SUB Mount supports 1 1/8″ handlebars (optional 7/8″ bar adapters available). This mounting style offers benefits for both average-height and taller riders:
- Minimizes rider contact with the stabilizer
- Prevents stabilizer damage in crashes
- Creates a more effective stabilizer action
- Allows use of bar pads for added rider protection
- Offers a 25mm (1″) taller bar position for taller riders
BRP triple clamps are crafted from robust 6061-T6 billet aluminum, offering superior strength and comparable weight to OEM units. Precision-machined fork bores feature a 2-pinch bolt design, increasing clamping surface and preventing fork twist.
This is an easy bolt-on assembly that requires basic hand tools and can be completed by a novice mechanic.
Special Notes:
Depending on the model, additional hardware such as headlight & odo brackets or mounts may be required (additional charge). Some applications offer only solid-mounted bar mounts, and fork pinch bolts may come from the front. We also provide additional bar positions "RTS" for most models (see RTS Chart).
