Manufactured from robust 6061-T6 billet aluminum, the BRP Triple Clamp is both stronger and comparable in weight to the OEM unit. Its precision-machined fork bores feature a 2-pinch bolt design, increasing clamping surface area and preventing fork twist during hard landings or crashes.
Installation is straightforward, requiring only basic hand tools and suitable for novice mechanics. However, note that the Scotts Top Mount necessitates the purchase of the FBD-4553-00 Frame Bracket (sold separately). Depending on the model, additional hardware such as headlight & odo brackets or mounts may be required, adding 5mm to bar mount height in some cases.
