The Scotts Performance DM-SUB Kit is designed for riders using a Scotts stabilizer and looking to upgrade to the SUB Mount system. This kit includes the SUB Mount and bolt-on tower, offering two bar positions: 16mm (stock position #2 on WRF 450) and 26mm (10mm forward from position #2).
The BRP SUB Mount, also known as the "Scotts Under Bar" Mount, is a popular choice for GPs, motocross, off-road riders, and those of taller stature. It's designed to accommodate 1 1/8" ProTaper-style handlebars and mount a Scotts stabilizer below the handlebar, replacing the bar mount assembly on OEM, BRP, or Scotts triple clamps.
Key benefits of the SUB Mount setup include:
- Reduced risk of injury by keeping the stabilizer away from the rider
- Approximately 1 inch taller bar position on most models
- Enables the use of an additional bar pad for added protection
Please note that when using a Scotts stabilizer in the SUB Mount configuration, the arm must be reversed mounted. A lower bend bar can often mimic the stock bar height. Due to the SUB Mount's increased height, triple clamp-style enduro handguard mounts may not work with many bar bends. We recommend using U-clamp or Bonz mounts instead.
