The Scotts Performance DM-SUB Kit is designed for riders using a Scotts stabilizer and looking to upgrade to the SUB Mount system. This kit includes the SUB Mount and bolt-on tower, offering two bar positions: 16mm and 26mm in front of the steering stem. The 16mm position is the stock position on WRF 450, while the 26mm position is 10mm forward.
The BRP SUB Mount, also known as the "Scotts Under Bar" Mount, is a popular choice for GPs, motocross, off-road riders, and those of taller stature. It is designed to accommodate 1 1/8" ProTaper-style handlebars and mount a Scotts stabilizer below the handlebar, replacing the bar mount assembly on OEM, BRP, or Scotts triple clamps.
Key benefits of the SUB Mount setup include:
- Reduced risk of injury from contact with the stabilizer
- Approximately 1 inch taller bar position on most models
- Ability to run a bar pad for an additional level of protection
Please note that when using a Scotts stabilizer in the SUB Mount configuration, the arm must be reversed mounted. A lower bend bar can often mimic the stock bar height. Due to the SUB Mount's increased height, triple clamp-style enduro handguard mounts may not work with many bar bends. We recommend using U-clamp or Bonz mounts instead.
