The BRP SUB Mount Assembly is designed for Yamaha YZ 250F/FX and 450F/FX motorcycles. This mount offers adjustable bar positions to suit different riding preferences:
- For 06-08 models: 16mm and 26mm in front of the steering stem. 16mm is the stock position, while 26mm is 10mm forward from the stock position.
- For 09-13 models: 10mm and 20mm in front of the steering stem. 10mm is the stock position, while 20mm is the third position.
Please note that positions 1 and 4 are not available with this kit. The BRP SUB Mount is a popular choice for GPs, motocross, off-road riding, and riders with taller stature. It is designed to fit OEM, BRP, or Scotts triple clamps and is exclusively sold by Muller Motorsport.
Key benefits of the BRP SUB Mount include:
- Reduced risk of injury by positioning the stabilizer below the handlebar
- Approximately 1 inch taller bar position on most models
- Ability to run a bar pad for additional protection
When using a Scotts stabilizer with the SUB Mount, the arm must be reversed mounted. A lower bend bar can help emulate the stock bar height. Due to the SUB Mount's increased height, triple clamp-style enduro handguard mounts may not work with many bar bends. Muller Motorsport recommends using U-clamp or BRP handguard mounts instead.
BRP is an authorized Scotts Stabilizer Dealer and Service Center, offering a complete line of stabilizer mounting applications and replacement parts. Contact us for assistance with triple clamps other than OEM, BRP, or Scotts.
