This BRP Sub Mount Adapter SMO-3018 is designed for riders with a Scotts stabilizer and frame bracket, seeking a sub-mounted solution. The kit comprises a Sub adapter and essential hardware. This mounting kit enables you to install a Scotts stabilizer below the handlebar using your OEM cast or billet triple clamp.
The BRP Sub adapter is engineered to attach to the existing rear bar mount holes, allowing you to run in position 3 or 4. Sub-mounting a stabilizer provides several advantages over a traditional "above bar" setup. It is increasingly popular among GP racers, motocross riders, off-road enthusiasts, and taller riders.

Special Notes: When installing a stabilizer in the sub-mount configuration, the stabilizer link arm must be reverse-mounted "under the body of the unit." To reverse the link arm, we recommend using a Scotts Link Arm Puller (Sold Separately).
