The Scotts Performance BRP Solid SUB Mount Kit DM-3017-29

is a motorcycle part designed for mounting a Scotts stabilizer below the handlebar using your OEM cast or billet triple clamp.

This kit includes:

• Sub adapter (SMO-3017): Designed to mount to the existing rear bar mount holes, allowing you to run in position 3 or 4.
• Frame bracket (tower) [FBD-5929]: Bolts onto the frame for added support.
• All necessary hardware
• Bearing dust cover

Mounting a stabilizer below the handlebar, or SUB mounting, offers several benefits:

• Approximately 1” taller bar position
• Lower Bend Bars can be used to compensate for additional height
• Reduces the risk of bodily injury
• Stabilizer is tucked away and protected from potential damage from a crash

When running a stabilizer in the sub mount configuration, the stabilizer link arm will need to be reverse mounted. We recommend using a Scotts Link Arm Puller for this process.
