The BRP Rubber SUB Mount Kit is designed for KTM 1090/1190/1290 Adventure bikes with Scotts stabilizers. This kit includes a BRP Rubber SUB Mount, a bolt-on tower, and an 8mm longer link arm. The Scotts Link Arm Puller is also included for easy installation. Note: The arm and puller are not included if you are adding a new stabilizer.
The BRP Rubber SUB Mount, also known as the "Scotts Under Bar" Mount, is a popular choice for Adventure riding, Dual Sport, motocross, and off-road riders. It is designed to run 1 1/8" ProTaper style handlebars and mounts the Scotts stabilizer below the handlebar, replacing the bar mount assembly on the OEM triple clamps.
- Increases high-speed stability, particularly on the highway
- Provides a 38mm taller bar position
- Handlebars are forward 13mm, opening up the rider cockpit
- Reduces the risk of injury by keeping the rider away from the stabilizer
Please note that when using a Scotts stabilizer in the SUB Mount configuration, the arm must be in the reverse position. A lower bend bar can often mimic the stock bar height. Due to the SUB Mount's taller height, triple clamp-style enduro handguard mounts may not work with many bar bends. We recommend using U-clamp or Bonz mounts instead.
