The BRP Rubber SUB Mount Kit is designed for motorcycles with a Scotts Steering Stabilizer. This kit includes a BRP triple clamp, Rubber Mounted SUB Mount, Bolt on tower, and Key Switch Bracket. Note that the Scotts Steering Stabilizer and pointer on the base valve must be trimmed to clear handlebars.
The BRP Rubber Mounted SUB Mount utilizes a 4 Post with 8 Poly Urethane Bushings system, which significantly reduces vibration and is compatible with 1 1/8" Oversized handlebars. This setup offers several advantages over conventional "above bar" stabilizer setups:
- Enhanced high-speed stability, particularly on highways
- Approximately 5mm taller bar position compared to stock
- Reduced risk of injury from contact with the stabilizer
Please note that when using a Scotts stabilizer in the SUB Mount configuration, the arm must be reversed mounted. Lower bend bars can often mimic stock bar height, but due to the SUB Mount's increased height, triple clamp enduro handguard mounts may not work with many bar bends. Instead, we recommend using U-clamp or Bonz mounts.
