The BRP Rubber MTD Sub Mount DM-SUB Kit from Scotts Performance is designed to reduce rider fatigue by isolating vibration using eight poly-urethane bushings. This kit includes a BRP Rubber Mounted SUB Adapter, a Scotts Bolt-on Tower (Frame Bracket), sets of rubber bushings (Red = Medium, Blue = Soft), and all necessary hardware.
This SUB mount assembly is suitable for those with a Scotts stabilizer who prefer a sub-mounted setup. It mounts below the handlebar using the OEM triple clamp. The BRP Rubber Mounted SUB adapter fits onto the existing rear bar mount holes, allowing you to maintain the same bar position as stock for 06-08 models and +5mm forward for 09-13 models.
Benefits of SUB mounting a stabilizer include an approximately 1” taller bar position, the ability to use lower bend bars for height compensation, reduced risk of bodily injury, and protection of the stabilizer from potential damage in a crash.
