The BRP SUB Mount is a stabilizer mounting solution designed for use with BRP Rubber Mounted Triple Clamps. It is not compatible with R4 Triple Clamps. This mount raises handlebar height by 25mm and is positioned 17mm in front of the steering stem. For those who prefer to keep their bars at the stock height, we recommend using Pro-Taper Steering Damper Low Bars.
The BRP SUB Mount is a popular choice among GP racers, motocross riders, off-road enthusiasts, and taller individuals. It is designed to accommodate 1 1/8" ProTaper handlebars and mount a Scotts stabilizer below the handlebar, replacing the bar mount assembly on OEM, BRP, or Scotts triple clamps.
Compared to conventional "above bar" stabilizer setups, the SUB Mount setup offers several advantages:
- Reduced risk of injury from contact with the stabilizer
- Approximately 1 inch taller bar position on most models
- Enables the use of an additional bar pad for added protection
Please note that when using a Scotts stabilizer in the SUB Mount configuration, the arm must be reversed mounted. For those using a lower bend bar, it may help emulate the stock bar height. Due to the SUB Mount's increased height, triple clamp style enduro handguard mounts may not work with many bar bends. We recommend using BRP BMI-9254 Hand Guard Mounts instead.
