The BRP Adjustable SUB Mount DM-SUB Kit is designed for riders using a Scotts steering stabilizer. This mount allows you to run the handlebars in two positions: 17mm or 27mm in front of the steering stem. The stock bar position is 14mm in front of the steeling stem.
Handlebar height is raised by 25mm. For those who prefer to keep their bars at the stock height, Brp recommends using Pro-Taper Steering Damper Low handlebars.
The BRP SUB Mount is a popular choice for GPs, motocross, off-road racing, and riders of taller stature. It is designed to fit OEM, BRP, or Scotts triple clamps. In some cases, it may also work with aftermarket triple clamps. For triple clamps other than OEM, BRP, or Scotts, please contact Muller Motorsport for compatibility.
Key benefits of the BRP SUB Mount include reduced risk of injury from contact with the stabilizer, approximately 1 inch taller bar position on most models, and the ability to run a bar pad for an additional level of protection.
Please note that when using a Scotts stabilizer in the SUB Mount configuration, the arm must be reversed mounted. A lower bend bar can often emulate the stock bar height. Triple clamp style enduro handguard mounts may not work with many bar bends, so Muller Motorsport recommends using BRP BMI-9254 Hand Guard Mounts.
