The DM-SUB Kit by Scotts Performance is an adjustable SUB Mount designed for 1 1/8" ProTaper style handlebars. This mount enables you to install a Scotts steering stabilizer below the handlebar, replacing the standard bar mount assembly on OEM, BRP, or Scotts triple clamps. With this setup, you can enjoy two handlebar positions: 17mm or 27mm in front of the steering stem, raising the handlebar height by 25mm.
Key benefits of the SUB Mount include:
- Reduced risk of injury from contact with the stabilizer
- Approximately 1 inch taller bar position on most models
- Enables the use of an additional bar pad for increased protection
Please note that when using a Scotts stabilizer in the SUB Mount configuration, the arm must be reversed mounted. Additionally, due to the SUB Mount's increased height, triple clamp style enduro handguard mounts may not work with many bar bends. We recommend using U-clamp or Bonz mounts instead.
